Not every gemstone is about sparkle alone. Some stones tell their story in the way the stone is cut. This stone is a beautiful example of a powerful stone that is impossible to ignore.

In the rolling highlands of New South Wales, Ngarbal country, the town of Glen Innes is famed for its gem-rich earth. Among its treasures is the white topaz. The gemstone that is featured in this ring was found here, locally fossicked by a family member who was a gem enthusiast. 

This gemstone was also beautifully cut by another family member to highlight the gemstones' pure clarity and gentle fire. The naturally colourless gemstone holds both light and history within each facet in the coffin cut shape.

The ring has been designed in platinum to compliment the cool-toned glow as it amplifies the topaz’s brightness, while its strength ensures the ring will last a lifetime, just as the gemstone has endured for millennia before finding its way to this hand. The bezel setting has been chosen to protect the gemstone as the topaz is naturally softer  

This piece has become more than jewellery, it is a collaboration between land, craft, and a sentimental story. A one-of-a-kind connection to a place, made for a one-of-a-kind person.
